Fighting AIDS, TB and Malaria

With Global Fund resources, more than 500,000 people are projected to receive antiretroviral treatment over five years. This represents a near tripling of coverage in poor countries (including a more than six-fold increase in Africa). All HIV grants include prevention, much of which is focused on school-aged children and youth. راجع القائمة الكاملة لبرامج الإيدز الممولة In 2002, 3.1 million people died of AIDS, over three-quarters in sub-Saharan Africa alone. Another 5 million were newly infected. Ninety percent of these new nets are being directed to Africa.
