Malaria Memorial Service
Every day in Africa, the equivalent of 7 jumbo jets full of women and children die of malaria, a disease which is preventable, treatable and curable. In 2004, Phumzile Ntuli, a singer in Yvonne Chaka Chaka's band, was one of them. On the occasion of the Global Fund's Partnership Forum, the African superstar and Roll Back Malaria Ambassador organized a memorial service in Phumzile's honor.
