Global Fund in-country structures
To ensure that funding is as effective as possible, the Global Fund is very flexible in terms of which entities functions as Principal Recipients and sub-recipients. Arrangements are adjusted to the needs of each country, and a variety of arrangements have been set up in the programs the Global Fund is financing. Countries mentioned under each structure are examples only. Some countries which receive several grants also use several recipient models.
