Chia, being open about living with HIV in Jakarta

Chia works for the Indonesia Positive Women's Network, and discovered that she was HIV-positive during the time that she lost her husband to an AIDS-related illness. Through funding for the National AIDS Council's work with positive people's networks in Indonesia, the Global Fund helps women like Chia support each other, and work to change the conditions that create stigma and discrimination against people living with HIV.
