Photo of the Week: Finding Strength Among Peers

Posted on: 13 September 2012 | Photo of the Week

A woman is cheered by her fellow volunteers at a state conference of HIV peer educators in Andhra Pradesh, India. Most of the members are HIV-positive and from marginalized groups such as men having sex with men, injecting drug users and sex workers. The Global Fund-supported Indian Network of People Living with HIV (INP+), who organized the event, has given hope and courage to thousands of people in India living with the disease.
