In a country where an estimated 14% of the adult population is infected with HIV, few children have not been touched in some way by the AIDS pandemic. The Global Fund not only finances effective drugs to reduce the number of AIDS-related deaths, but also supports programs that provide orphans and vulnerable children with the care and support they need.
