The Board of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria held its 18h meeting from 7-8 November 2008 in New Delhi, India.
At this meeting, the Board made a number of important decisions for the future direction of the Global Fund and the fight against the three diseases, including the approval of an eight round of grant funding ("Round 8"). It also decided on a new closing date for submitting Round 9 proposals, 1 June 2009.
