Case studies related to CCMs

The CCM has been a cornerstone of the Global Fund architecture since the organization was created in 2001.  Over the last 7 years, the CCM model has steadily evolved.  The Global CCM Report 2008 documents lessons learned about CCMs through 40 case studies across 20 countries, covering eight thematic areas and interviews with approximately 628 participants, conducted throughout September to October 2007.

This important set of case studies contributes to understanding the role of CCMs in the democratization of health, with the involvement of civil society organizations, PLWD and the private sector raised to an institutional level for the very first time, and enables CCMs around the world to learn lessons from one another.

In addition to the Global Report, 8 Themed Briefs (One-Pagers) + 8 Themed Reports were produced on the basis of the 40 case studies carried out at country level, all of which may be downloaded by clicking on the relevant links below.
