The Team
The role of the Senior Civil Society Officers is to support the engagement of civil society and communities affected by the diseases in Global Fund processes, meaningful participation of civil society in governance and implementation, and to facilitate capacity development, problem solving, demand creation and information flow between civil society organizations and the Global Fund.
The Senior Private Sector Officer has the primary responsibility for country-level activities and work closely with fund portfolio managers to stimulate the sector's involvement in programs in-country. The officers collaborate with the Private Sector and Nongovernment Donors Team. The focus of the Senior Private Sector Officer is to encourage private sector implementation of Global Fund programs, as well as increase its participation on CCMs.
The Program Officers proactively contribute to the Partnership Unit’s core function of facilitating and coordinating civil society and private sector engagement in global fund processes in areas such as governance, implementation and grant oversight. This includes analyzing and reporting on CS and PS engagement in current and planned grants, and developing recommendations on best practice.
