The Global Fund's Executive Director Prof Michel Kazatchkine met with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon on 5 January 2012 to discuss the Global Fund's new strategy for 2012-16, greater collaboration with the UN system and the Secretary General's continuing support for the Global Fund's resource mobilisation efforts.
