CCM Regional Workshop for Southern Africa
and Lusophone African CCMs
17-19 October 2011, Johannesburg, South Africa
Objectives:
- Provide guidance on, and discuss the CCM’s role throughout the grant life cycle.
- Introduce the New CCM Guidelines approved by the Global Fund Board in May 2011.
- Strengthen CCM understanding of oversight and the oversight tool (dashboard).
- Strengthen processes to effectively mobilize country stakeholders, in particular the non-Governmental sector’s participation in the CCMs.
- Exchange country experiences and promote good practices of CCMs within the region.
- Improve CCM members’ understanding of compliance with the Global Fund Board requirements – new grant architecture through grant consolidation into single streams of funding per PR, periodic review, the accountability framework and identifying risk.
- Indicate priorities for CCM technical support.
