Procurement and Supply Management Workshop

The Global Fund’s South and West Asia Regional Team organized a regional workshop on “Procurement and Supply Management” from 22 to 24 October 2008 in Cochin, Kerala, India. About 70 participants, represented by the Procurement specialist/officers from the South and West Asian Countries, attended the training workshop. The workshop provided pertinent information on Global Fund’s Procurement Policies, Voluntary Pooled Procurement, Logistics Management Information Systems, quantification and forecasting, Inventory Control, Distribution, Price and Quality Reporting and Quality Assurance. The workshop was facilitated by the Global Fund Secretariat with inputs from the technical partners.
