Global Fund Secretariat forecast of resources available for Round 9, April 2009

As of April 2009, based on pledges as currently confirmed, no funds would be available to fund Round 9 proposals, including National Strategy Applications (NSAs) and the Affordable Medicines Facility-malaria (AMFm). However, upon taking account of additional amounts expected to be pledged in the coming months, it is forecast that up to $900 million may be available by the 20th Board Meeting in November 2009 when funding decisions for Round 9 (and NSAs and AMFm) will be made.
