The Global Fund To Fight AIDS/HIV, Tuberculosis and Malaria welcomes and encourages collaboration with external institutions to monitor, evaluate and research its functioning and impact.

The present page aims to make evaluations of the Fund available as widely and as transparently as possible. We hope this site stimulates open debate and evaluation of the Fund with the aim of improving its delivery of key services for HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.

This website library includes not only external studies led by a wide range of different stakeholders, but also studies and descriptive papers produced internally by the Global Fund. These documents address diverse aspects of the different mechanisms and processes of the Global Fund.

The documents included are classified according to four broad subject-headings: Evaluation Framework, Integrated Evaluations of The Global Fund To Fight AIDS/HIV, Tuberculosis and Malaria, Global Fund Specific Evaluations, Information and Position Papers.

Evaluation Framework
The Evaluation Framework section includes work on the concepts and methodology applied in the construction of the central evaluation framework (PDF - 1.6 Mb) developed for the Global Fund.

Integrated Evaluations
Integrated Evaluations of The Global Fund To Fight AIDS/HIV, Tuberculosis and Malaria are studies conducted on the Global Fund as a whole or touching several domains.

Specific Evaluations
The Global Fund To Fight AIDS/HIV, Tuberculosis and Malaria Specific Evaluations cover studies specific to distinct aspects of the functioning of the Fund (Secretariat, Country Coordinating Mechanisms, Local Fund Agent, Principal Recipient, Private Sector, Public Sector).

Information and Position Papers
Information and Position Papers contain diverse information about the Fund and report positions taken with regard to different issues.

This collection of documents is soon to be complemented by a bibliography of articles published on the Global Fund.

The presentation of this collection of documents is managed by the GFATM Technical Evaluation Reference Group. The TERG is a group of experts providing independent advice, assessment and oversight for the Fund's work on Monitoring and Evaluation.

Please note that we are happy to publish any other relevant evaluations that you may wish to share with us on this page. Please forward them to us directly. Although most of the documents currently in the library are in English, reports in other languages are also very welcome.
