The Global Fund is committed to performance based funding to ensure simple, transparent performance frameworks are implemented for itself and for all grants. This aims to ensure that funds go to services for the people who need them with urgency. In this section you will find information on the Global Fund as well as on individual grants, so you can work to hold countries accountable for Global Fund money.
In addition we provide information on the monitoring and evaluation frameworks used by The Global Fund, and agreed by a wide range of international partners. We aim to have an open Monitoring and Evaluation system that can use systems and indicators already developed in countries. We also have a section on Independent Evaluations and the Evaluation Library. These help us all learn more about how The Global Fund operates to improve the fight against AIDS, TB and Malaria.
