The Board of the Global Fund held its Forty-Ninth Meeting between the 10th and the 11th of May 2023 in Han Noi, Viet Nam.

On April 21, the Global Fund Board selected Lady Roslyn Morauta as Chair and Bience Gawanas as Vice-Chair, bringing two women with an exceptional level of leadership and international expertise to the governance of the Global Fund. As of the conclusion of the Board Meeting, Lady Morauta and Advocate Gawanas start their three-year terms as Chair and Vice-Chair, respectively.
