Country Coordinating Mechanisms can request technical assistance in the following areas:

  • Eligibility and Performance Assessments
  • Induction of new members
  • Strengthening governance and preparing for transition
  • Oversight
  • Dashboards (to strengthen oversight)
  • Civil society engagement and elections

Eligibility and Performance Assessment

Country Coordinating Mechanisms are required to carry out an Eligibility and Performance Assessment (EPA) annually. For standard Eligibility and Performance Assessments, they must request technical assistance for this process.

If these partners listed above are unable to assist with the Eligibility and Performance Assessment, or for technical assistance in other areas, please contact your Fund Portfolio Manager.

We will facilitate the provision of technical assistance, using consultants who have been selected and vetted by the Global Fund.

Country Coordinating Mechanism Orientation Program

Country Coordinating Mechanisms can improve their performance with the Country Coordinating Mechanism Orientation Program, developed by the Global Fund and Grant Management Solutions. The program provides Country Coordinating Mechanism members, Country Coordinating Mechanism secretariats, committees, consultants and relevant stakeholders with the knowledge and skills they need to carry out their jobs effectively.
