The TB mortality rate in Kosovo has been consistently low in recent years, and the burden of multidrug-resistant TB is relatively limited. The country’s health programs still grapple with human rights barriers that prevent prisoners, ethnic minorities, and other vulnerable groups from getting the same access to treatment and care.
