The Global Fund is proud to participate in TICAD7 in Yokohama, Japan from 28-30 August. TICAD plays an important role in providing a platform for critical global collaboration in support of African sustainable, stable economic growth and development, gathering heads of state and representatives from government, international/regional organizations, civil society, and the private sector.

The event will explore future options for achieving UHC in a sustainable manner. It aims to highlight the good practices and lessons learnt in moving towards UHC with a particular focus on five key areas identified in ‘UHC in Africa’ through presenting country progress, enhance multi-stakeholder coordination at global and country levels and shape the way forward to achieve UHC in a sustainable and equitable manner.
