Support the Global Fund and Unite to Fight COVID-19
To play our part in the global fight against COVID-19, we urgently require at least $5 billion to cover the most urgent needs. In low- and middle-income countries, the knock-on effects of COVID-19 are creating a perfect storm. Fragile health systems are under desperate strain, and progress in the fight against the world’s deadliest infectious diseases – HIV, TB and malaria – is under serious threat. In 2020 alone, the economic downturn could also push up to 115 million additional people into extreme poverty. We are working to ensure equitable access to tests, treatments and vaccines, while protecting decades of improvement in health outcomes for the most vulnerable people in the world. We must step up investment and unite to fight against COVID-19. No one is safe until everyone is safe.
