# Republic of Korea

The Republic of Korea has supported the Global Fund since its creation, with a total contribution of {{0:C:USD:M}} ({{0:C:KRW:B}}) to date.

At the Eighth Replenishment conference, the Republic of Korea announced a pledge of US$100 million for the period 2026-2028. This pledge reaffirms the Republic of Korea's leadership role in combating infectious diseases.

This substantial pledge to the Global Fund demonstrates its commitment to global health, the fight against HIV, tuberculosis and malaria, and building resilient and sustainable systems for health.
