# Malta

With a cumulative pledge of {{0:P:EUR:K}}, Malta is the 67th largest donor to the Global Fund.

Malta first became a donor to the Global Fund in 2019 when it pledged {{2020-2022:P:EUR:K}} to the Sixth Replenishment (2020-2022).

At the Global Fund’s Eight Replenishment, Malta’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Tourism, Mr Ian Borg, personally announced his country’s pledge of {{2026-2028:P:EUR:K}} for the period 2026-2028.

Malta’s commitment is a testament to sustaining progress, strengthening health security and protecting the most vulnerable communities worldwide.
