# Netherlands

The Netherlands is the ninth largest public donor to the Global Fund, with a total contribution of {{0:C:EUR:B}} to date.

For the period 2026-2029, the Netherlands has pledged €195.2 million, reaffirming its strong commitment for global health and multilateral cooperation.

At the Seventh Replenishment conference in September 2022, the Netherlands announced a pledge of €180 million for the period 2023-2025. This represented a 15% increase over its Sixth Replenishment pledge, covering 2020-2022.

In 2021, the country announced an additional contribution amounting to €27 million towards Global Fund’s efforts to support the international response in the fight against COVID-19.
