# United Kingdom

The United Kingdom is a founding member and long-time partner of the Global Fund. The country is the third largest public donor to the Global Fund, having made a total contribution of more than {{0:C:GBP:B}} to date.

In 2025, the United Kingdom co-hosted the Global Fund’s Eighth Replenishment alongside the Republic of South Africa. The U.K.’s leadership in bringing together partners and collaborating closely with South Africa’s government was crucial to the Replenishment’s success. The U.K. pledged {{2026-2028:P:GBP:M}} for 2026-2028, reaffirming its dedication to saving lives and promoting health equity.
