# Report of the Portfolio Management and Procurement Committee: Portfolio Management: Identifying Neediest and Poorest Countries

- While the methodology for identifying the neediest and poorest countries is being developed, the Secretariat will supply information on needy and poor countries that have not received funding in Rounds 1 and 2 to the 4^th^Board meeting. The information presented to the 4^th^Board meeting on needy and poor countries will also be provided to partners to encourage them to support these countries in the process of applying to the Global Fund.

- (Deferred)For the Fifth Board meeting, the PMPC will provide recommendations on mechanisms for ensuring that the neediest and poorest are not systematically excluded from funding.
