COVID-19 Response: Health Product Supply Update for Principal Recipients
22 April 2020
COVID-19 continues to impact health product supply globally. The Global Fund is working closely with our technical partners, including the Stop TB Partnership’s Global Drug Facility and our procurement service agents, to ensure goods are delivered as close to the promised delivery dates as possible.
The Global Fund communicated updated guidance to Principal Recipients on 20 April with the latest recommendations to support current deliveries and minimize the impact on future orders:

We continue to provide support for current deliveries, and encourage Principal Recipients to use available track and trace tools to monitor the progress of their orders:
- IDA Foundation
- Partnership for Supply Chain Management
- Stop TB Partnership Global Drug Facility
- wambo.org
Delays of more than 30 days are likely in current situations. The Global Fund, the Stop TB Partnership and procurement service agents are working with implementing partners to identify affected orders and minimize impact on deliveries where delays of more than 30 days are expected.
Much of the information in the guidance is also provided through our regularly updated COVID-19 Health Product Supply page.
