Call for Applications – Independent Member, Global Fund Executive Director Nomination Committee

The Global Fund Board Leadership is seeking an Independent Member to join the Executive Director Nomination Committee (EDNC) ahead of the Executive Director selection process launching in January 2026.
The EDNC plays a critical role in guiding a competency-based, apolitical selection process, supporting the Board in identifying 4–5 highly qualified finalist candidates for the role of Executive Director, for Board consideration. The Independent Member will bring global experience, technical insight, and recent expertise in CEO-level appointments in similarly scaled organizations.
Key Requirements:
- Must meet the independence criteria outlined in the EDNC Terms of Reference
download in English. - Proven track record in executive recruitment and governance.
- Availability to commit approximately 20 days between December 2025 and July 2026, including multiple in-person and virtual engagements.
- Strong commitment to confidentiality, integrity, and impartiality.
This is a non-remunerated role; travel expenses will be covered per Global Fund policy.
