Global Fund Appoints Philippa Bonay as Chief Human Resources Officer

GENEVA – The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (the Global Fund) is pleased to announce that Philippa Bonay has been selected as the organization’s new Chief Human Resources Officer. She will oversee human resources (HR) operations, strategy and programs for the organization.
Bonay brings extensive experience in navigating complexity, accelerating transformation and building high-performing, future-ready workforces. She joins the Global Fund from the United Kingdom’s Office for National Statistics (ONS), where she was the Operations Director and Chief People Officer, as well as a member of the UK Civil Service HR Executive Board.
Prior to her role at the ONS, Bonay held several senior HR roles within the UK government, including with the Ministry of Defence, Cabinet Office and Home Office. She was HR and Communications Director at AXA Technology Services and has also worked in senior HR positions for Honeywell Aerospace, Thales Naval Division, Autologic Transport and Logistics, and the Lagardère Group in Paris.
Bonay will start her role with the Global Fund in April 2026.
