Paraguay became a Global Fund donor in 2022 with a pledge of US$50,000 at the Seventh Replenishment Conference in New York, showing its leadership in global health and its commitment to the fight against HIV, tuberculosis and malaria. Paraguay is the first donor from Latin America and the Caribbean since the early days of the Global Fund.
