Global Fund Executive Director Dr. Richard Feachem to give inaugural address

In his first public appearance as Executive Director of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, Dr. Richard Feachem will present his vision setting forth the basic values and main areas of action for the Global Fund.
The Global Fund is a new global financial instrument designed to attract, manage and strategically disburse additional resources in countries with the greatest need. The Global Fund aims to help in-country public-private partnerships to scale up prevention, treatment, care and support efforts.
