Anglo American in South Africa to engage in Co-investment scheme with the Global Fund and other partners

Geneva – The Global Fund greets with tremendous excitement the announcement made today by Anglo American in South Africa to engage in a ground breaking Co-investment scheme with the GF and other partners in South Africa. Working together with the Henry J Kaiser Family Foundation and the Nelson Mandela Foundation, through the "Love Life" initiative the Anglo American contribution is the first example of how a private company can capitalize on opportunities created by the Global Fund financing and where the end result will be of benefit to the community at large. Anglo American is a member of the Global Business Coalition.
