Opportunity for Independent Evaluation to Solicit Country Stakeholder Feedback

06 December 2023

The Evaluation and Learning Office of the Global Fund, with oversight from the Independent Evaluation Panel, will commission a multi-component evaluation called Imbizo, a Xhosa word meaning “a gathering to share knowledge.” Set to launch in 2024, with the possibility for extension in subsequent years, Imbizo aims to establish a regular, iterative and independent system that enables the Global Fund to solicit the views of country stakeholders on how the Global Fund is supporting countries in their fight against the three diseases, and where adjustments can lead to better results.

The request for proposals (RFP) has been published and the submission period for proposals is open until 31 January 2024. Two webinars will be scheduled, the first on 19 December 2023 and the second on 18 January 2024, where bidders can receive further background information on the evaluation and have an opportunity to ask questions regarding the scope of work. Please submit your interest in attending either webinar by following the instructions specified in the RFP.
