Access to medicines is essential, and any delay can mean the difference between life and death. This is especially true for malaria. For a child with fever, every minute matters. This video shows the journey to deliver lifesaving medicines across Chad – from the central warehouse in Ndjamena, the capital city, to the hands of the people living in remote villages. In challenging operating environments, which account for a quarter of the global disease burden for HIV, TB and malaria, the Global Fund partnership is working to build efficient supply chain and data systems – ensuring steady, reliable provision of health products and services. These efforts are helping expand access to comprehensive health services in all 23 provinces across Chad, and build the foundation for universal health coverage.
