The Global Fund partnership has saved 38 million lives since 2002 – including 6 million lives in 2019 alone. Last year, more people were receiving lifesaving treatment for HIV, TB and malaria than ever before. Then the COVID-19 pandemic hit, and everything changed. Studies predict deaths from HIV, TB and malaria could as much as double in the next year as a result of COVID-19, derailing decades of progress. We cannot let that happen. We must unite to fight.
