With a cumulative pledge of €600,000, Malta is the 67th largest donor to the Global Fund.

Malta first became a donor to the Global Fund in 2019 when it pledged €300,000 to the Sixth Replenishment (2020-2022).

At the Global Fund’s Eight Replenishment, Malta’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Tourism, Mr Ian Borg personally announced his country’s pledge of €150,000 for the period 2026-2028.

Malta’s commitment is a testament to sustain progress, strengthen health security, and protect the most vulnerable communities worldwide.
