The Office of the Inspector General releases 13 reports for public information

The Office of the Inspector General has released the following 13 reports for public information:
- An inspection report of the processes which underpin Principal Recipient grant closures in Cameroon, Ghana, Nigeria and Zambia. The report analyzes patterns in a sample of 500 grants which were coming to a close at the end of 2012.
- Ten reports which provide an extensive review of grant recipient external audit assurance. The auditors examined 44 grants in 29 countries from all 10 regions covered by the Global Fund.
- An investigation of a Global Fund grant in Papua New Guinea. The report focuses on a malaria grant disbursed to the Rotary Club of Port Moresby to procure and distribute bed nets and to train health staff.
