Implementation Readiness

Principal Recipients (PRs) work towards implementation readiness during grant-making to ensure that grant activities will start on time.

Being “implementation-ready” means that on the first day of implementation, PRs will have:

  • Human resources staff in place, with signed contracts.
  • Signed contracts with sub-recipients.
  • Signed contracts with the suppliers of health products and critical services.
  • An agreed workplan for the first year of implementation.
