New Isoniazid/rifapentine and rifapentine generic for tuberculosis (TB) prevention recently recommended for use by ERP

The following products have been recommended for use by the Expert Review Panel (ERP)
- Rifapentine 300mg tablets Al/Al strip pack manufactured by Lupin, India
- Rifapentine/Isoniazid 300/300mg Al/Al strip pack manufactured by Lupin, India
The recommendation is valid up to the 18th of May 2023.
For any PR procurement of the FPP recommended for use by ERP, The Global Fund will make the necessary arrangements for randomly selected samples of the FPP to be tested for quality control purposes prior to the delivery of that FPP by the manufacturer to the PR or other designated recipient.
