Report of the Portfolio Management and Procurement Committee: Portfolio Management: Identifying Neediest and Poorest Countries
- While the methodology for identifying the neediest and poorest countries is being developed, the Secretariat will supply information on needy and poor countries that have not received funding in Rounds 1 and 2 to the 4thBoard meeting. The information presented to the 4thBoard meeting on needy and poor countries will also be provided to partners to encourage them to support these countries in the process of applying to the Global Fund.
- (Deferred)For the Fifth Board meeting, the PMPC will provide recommendations on mechanisms for ensuring that the neediest and poorest are not systematically excluded from funding.
