Location of the 49th Board Meeting
- The Board:
- Welcomes the invitation of the government of Viet Nam to host the Global Fund’s 49th Board Meeting on 10-11 May 2023; and
- Acknowledges the recommendation set forth in GF/B48/ER04.
- Requests the Global Fund Secretariat to engage with the Government of Viet Nam to agree on any necessary arrangements relating to hosting the Board Meeting in Viet Nam, and invites the Government of Viet Nam to consider conferring privileges and immunities to the Global Fund.
- Accordingly, the Board agrees to convene the 49th Board Meeting in Hanoi, Viet Nam.
Budgetary Implications
The budgetary implications of this decision are included in the approved 2023 Operating Expenses budget.
